01 / Practice

Ethicos AI helps organisations make better decisions about artificial intelligence.

We work with teams who treat AI as a question worth thinking carefully about, not as a slogan to wave or a problem to outsource.

Engagements run the length of an AI question. Strategy at the start, governance and ethics in the middle, training and writing at the end. We sit alongside the people doing the work.

Every project starts with a careful reading of the system, the organisation, and the people it affects. From there we build the frameworks, policies, reviews and training that move responsible AI from a stated value to an operational one.

Etymology. From the Greek ἦθος (ēthos). Character, custom, the place of dwelling. Held alongside φρόνησις (phronēsis): practical wisdom under real conditions. The Æ holds the AI inside the word.

03 / Why Ethicos

A consultancy built around the question.

Responsible AI is not a slogan, a checklist, or compliance theatre. It asks for clear reasoning, institutional judgement, and design choices that hold up under pressure.

Senior throughout.

The person you meet does the work. No layered teams, no juniors handed the difficult questions.

Trained on the question.

Years inside the philosophy, AI safety and governance of this subject. Not adjacent to it.

Useful inside organisations.

Frameworks and recommendations that survive contact with real decisions, real teams, real budgets.

Quiet over loud.

We help clients think. We don't perform thinking on stage.

04 / Method

How an engagement runs, in five movements.

Analysis · framing · trade-offs
M / 03

Design

M / 04

Implement
